I love how this one came out! One of my favorites!
I used a variety of techniques to achieve the final result. The vessel is made from Amadore Stoneware Clay made by New Mexico Clay Co. in Albuquerque. It was hand thrown over several hours then burnished with a stone to achieve a strong and smooth texture. I did this to allow for the smooth black on the naked body and for the glaze to drip more easily when applied and fired.
As for the "Mutton, Honey", you'll just have to do your own research! (If you know, you know...)
